Rules & Regulations

To ensure a safe, productive, and inspiring learning environment, all students and parents are asked to read and agree to the following rules before registering.

General Rules

  1. Respect and Courtesy – Students are expected to treat teachers, classmates, and school property with respect at all times.

  2. Attendance – Regular attendance is important. If a student cannot attend, parents/guardians must notify the school in advance.

  3. Punctuality – Students should arrive on time. Late arrivals may disrupt the class and miss important instruction.

  4. Cleanliness – Students are responsible for keeping their workspace tidy and handling art supplies with care.

  5. Food and Drink – Only beverages and light snacks provided by the school may be consumed during class.

Safety & Health

  1. Non-Toxic Materials – The school uses only safe, non-toxic art supplies. No varnishes, solvents, or harmful chemicals are allowed.

  2. Allergies & Health Conditions – Parents (for children) and adults must disclose any allergies or chronic illnesses during registration.

  3. Emergency Contact – A current emergency contact number must always be provided.

  4. Behavior – Any behavior that endangers the safety of others will not be tolerated.

Classes & Materials

  1. Supplies Provided – All necessary art supplies and tools are included in the tuition fee. Students should not bring their own materials unless approved by the instructor.

  2. Trial Lesson – Every new student must complete a free trial lesson before final group placement.

  3. Group Placement – Students are placed into groups based on age, ability, and schedule availability. The decision is made jointly with parents (for children).

  4. Class Duration

    • Children: 2-hour sessions (3 hours for academic groups).

    • Adults: 3-hour sessions.

  5. Maximum Group Size

    • Regular groups: 10 students.

    • Academic groups: 8 students.

Photography & Artwork Use

  1. Student Work – With permission, the school may photograph student artwork for exhibitions, website, or promotional purposes.

  2. Privacy – No student photos will be published without written parental/guardian (for children) or student (for adults) consent.

Agreement

  • By registering at Private Art School, students and/or their parents/guardians confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these rules and regulations.
